History

The bank named after Shri Maharana Pratapji has strong roots deeply firmed in the cooperative sector. Inspiration behind this cooperative movement was Ex President Mrs Pratibha Patil.

This bank was inaugurated by then Maharashtra Chief Minister Late Mr. Vasant Dada Patil on 9th April 1983. Its first Founder Chairman was Late Mr. Ayodhya Singh Chauhan.

The journey of the bank commenced with a solo branch at Nagdevi Street and gradually expanded with the strong support of staff, directors, and well-wishers. The bank has consistently generated profits and paid steady dividends to its members.

Today, with 8 branches, the bank continues to focus on uplifting weaker sections of society by providing housing loans and priority sector financing, which constitutes 49.04% of its advance portfolio.
